Barre à terre- also known as Barre-au-Sol- is a workout method based on ballet. It’s a combination of choreographed exercises, applied on the ground instead of the bar, while incorporating elements of Pilates and Yoga. Essentially, a comprehensive strengthening of the muscles is achieved. Barre a Terre helps the body to acquire correct posture, sculpts and tightens the whole body, especially legs and bum, flattens the abs and sculpts the arms. It has been characterized by many as the training method that gives height, but what it gives is correct posture so that the limbs look longer.
